課程概述 |
團體是行動者嗎？社會科學哲學家普遍認為，只有構成團體的成員才是獨立自主的行動者。這些哲學家認為，當我們談論團體的心智狀態與行動時，只是間接地談論相關成員的心智狀態與行動而已，並非真的將團體當作心智狀態與行動的當事者。Christian List與Philip Pettit於近年間發展了一套關於團體能動性的實在論。List與Pettit透過檢視一個系統成為行動者的條件，指出團體滿足相關條件，進而論證團體是行動者。List與Pettit的理論迫使哲學家必須嚴肅評估團體能動性的可能性，不能在缺乏論證的情況下直接訴諸直覺否認團體行動者的存在。本課程將仔細研讀與討論List與Pettit的理論。
